Conditions as at August 29

Ten days of warm weather in mid August have hammered the snow cover. There has been some snow overnight but rain last weekend did not help. Conditions are now very poor for this time of year –  disappointing after a bad Spring last year. It has also been very windy with only T-Bars operating most of the week. Guthega and Smiggins now closed; access to Blue Cow via Ski Tube.

Looks like another early finish unless there is a dramatic change in the weather.

The bar is now open from 10am every day for coffee / hot drinks or something stronger. Lunch every day from 12 – 2pm.
