Our Ski Lodge

The Sundeck Hotel provides everything you’d expect of a true Australian skiing lodge.

Stay warm and get looked after when it’s too late to venture outside or too cold and bleak. The Australia’s Highest Hotel, the Sundeck Hotel features family friendly and cosy accommodation on snow with live entertainment and good food when you’re trapped inside, or simply too cold or exhausted from skiing. Come and stay at this historic hotel in the Kosciuszko National Park.

Best location for all skiers & snowboarders

Once we get enough snow, you can get out from our ski room and just ski/snowboard down to the lifts in the Front Valley. At the end of the day you can ski back to the hotel.

No DRIVING or TRAFFIC JAMS before and after skiing. Stay on snow!

Good Food and Atmosphere

We offer hot & cold buffet breakfast and 3 course dinner with choices (including vegetarian dishes) everyday for all house guests. We have 4 craft beers on tap in the bar and excellent wine list, supporting Australian producers. We have been running the hotel for more than 30 years as lodge style. The dining room and guest lounge are always great meeting places for many house guests.

Our regular guests say:

“Love the Sundeck food. Hearty and homemade meals.”
“Traditional dishes and some interesting cuisine we would love to try.”
“The best valued lunch in the mountains.”
“The Sundeck Hotel is my second home!”

Live Entertainment

We have regular live entertainment through Monday to Saturday and some weekend, including live music (regular bands and solo musicians), magic shows, major sporting events on the big screen and Trivia Night. Find out what’s on by clicking through to our What’s On page here.
